
Dr. Khalida Yasmin is a Board-Certified Family Physician serving Little Elm, Texas, and
surrounding communities, including Frisco, Aubrey, and Plano. She provides
comprehensive care for patients of all ages, with expertise in women’s health,
adolescent health, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, arthritis, asthma, and
obesity management.
Dr. Yasmin earned her MBBS from Rawalpindi Medical University in Pakistan and
completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She
completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado and has lived in the
Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex for over 25 years.
She has over 14 years of experience at Parkland Hospital and served in the United States
States Air Force for eight years, including four years as a Staff Physician, with continued
service in the Air Force Reserve. Dr. Yasmin is passionate about serving her community,
including refugee populations, the Katrina-affected families in Dallas, and underserved
populations, and she served for over eight years as a Director at IANT, a charity clinic.
Outside of her medical career, Dr. Yasmin enjoys spending time with her family. She
has twin boys, one serving in the local police department and the other as a physician
